When Love Came

A New Life

When love came, I was at my lowest, scratching and clawing my way through the hatred of this world.

When love came, I was leary if it, wondering where the catch was.

When love came, I begged and pleaded to be free.

When love came, the monster inside was fed for the last time!

When love came, I felt the first true embrace in my heart.

When love came, I met someone new…me.

His love became my love.

This was inspired by a thought Wally Fry had yesterday…

God is love. If God the Holy Spirit is in us, should we not also be love?

THE RAPTURE UNDER ATTACK!

KNOWING THE TIME, because what's coming matters

Noah preached for 120 years before the Lord delivered on His promise to destroy the world with water. I’m sure that in the final years before the flood came, he must have been severely mocked as a false prophet and a mad man. But God was faithful to His promise, and Noah was vindicated in the end.

Likewise today, people are scoffing at the promise of the Pre-Tribulation Rapture, and they are mocking those who are preaching it. I keep hearing comments like this: “People have been preaching the Lord’s imminent return for a hundred years, and nothing has happened.”

The irony is that this attitude is one of the signs that we are living in the final days of the end times, for the Bible says “that in the last days mockers will come with their mocking, following after their own lusts and saying, ‘Where is the promise of His…

I would like to introduce you to a very inspiring man.  His name is Bill Sweeney.  He has ALS and he is completely paralyzed.  Bill has lived through unimaginable suffering yet he still loves and serves Jesus with all of his heart.  He has been a great inspiration to me in my fight against Celiac.  Bill’s blog here on WordPress is called “Unshakable Hope.”  He wrote a post today called “Pressing On” that I highly recommend reading.  I also recommend spending some time on his blog reading his other posts.  The Lord is using Bill in a mighty way to touch lives for the glory of God.  You will be blessed reading what he has to say!  I recommend following his blog while you’re at it too.

Here is a link to his post from today:

Top 10 Bible Prophecy-Related Stories of 2018 :: By Jan Markell — Rapture Ready

Almost one-third of the Bible relates to eschatology or Bible prophecy. I think we can conclude that a lot of what is happening today foreshadows “things to come.” Here are my observations on activities that relate to Bible prophecy in 2018. I am just discerning the times, not engaging in newspaper exegesis. I encourage everyone…

Isiah 53

Story Teller

53 Who has believed our message
and to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?
He grew up before him like a tender shoot,
and like a root out of dry ground.
He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him,
nothing in his appearance that we should desire him.
He was despised and rejected by mankind,
a man of suffering, and familiar with pain.
Like one from whom people hide their faces
he was despised, and we held him in low esteem.

Surely he took up our pain
    and bore our suffering,
yet we considered him punished by God,
    stricken by him, and afflicted.
But he was pierced for our transgressions,
    he was crushed for our iniquities;
the punishment that brought us peace was on him,
and by his wounds we are healed.
We all, like sheep, have gone astray,
    each of us has turned to our own way;
and the Lord has laid on…
